Hotel not in a very pretty area - roads, highway, bridge. But the inside is fabulous. The decor is very cool and the staff was so attentive and helpful. Loved the room and would stay again. I highly recommend this hotel. It is on the upper eastside so it feels safe. A few blocks to the subway, but it's not very far at all. Cabs area available all the time if you prefer.

great, modern hotel right on the river. staff is wonderful, rooms are well appointed with modern furniture and white linens (no gross paisley comforter here!) has business center and workout room. only downfall is that it is almost a half mile walk to the subway (gets tiring on the 10th trip!) cute restaurants and shops 2 blocks away. would stay again!

This hotel overall was great. The staff was very friendly and any request was met with promptly. We had problems with our safe (low battery) and it was resolved immediately. My only 2 complaints which were kind of minor were: 1. No free wifi. In this day & age, it's surprising when a hotel doesn't offer free wifi even when a crappy motel down the street does. This wasn't a huge problem since there was a Starbucks right around the corner with free wifi. Just seems a little silly in a nice hotel. 2. We had reserved a Queen standard room but ended up with a deluxe double. Again, not a huge deal but a little disappointing we had to sleep in a full size bed. But my husband and I are both slender so it wasn't a problem. And when we checked in, they told us they were pretty booked so really not a big deal. Just a disappointment. But overall, our stay was great. For our specific trip this time, the location was a bit far, but there was a subway station a few blocks up and of course, taxis all over the place.

My friend and myself travel to New York City from Tennessee. The Bentley hotel was a heat of the moment deal. We were VERY pleased with the service, price, and everything. We always came back to a clean room, the front desk catered to our every need, and the hotel call a town car and held our bags on the last day of our trip. Also, our room had a gorgeous veiw of the Queensboro Bridge. The Bentley hotel was all we could have wanted and more. I would definately stay here again. Also, it is in a great area of New York City. My only complaint to the hotel is you can never tell wether or not the elevators are going up or down till it starts moving.

very happy with the hotel. Front desk very friendly, checked us in and out quickly. Room was clean and very comfortable. Would like to have had a river view instead of city view. Location was not the best since we spent most of our time in lower and midtown Manhattan. May stay there again if we get back to NYC.
